Artist Reception at the Design Center
Bhavna Misra’s show “Bold Colors: Form, Structure, and Portraiture” is on display at Graniterock’s Cupertino Design Center from November 30 - March 28, 2016. Please join us for the artist reception on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Bhavna is a full time artist working out of her Bay Area based art studio. She holds curiosity for observing life closely and desire to interpret it into drawings and paintings. She uses charcoal, pencil, pen, oil and pastel for her work. However, oil has been her choice of medium for most artworks. She holds two master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics. After working in a 9 to 6 job for many years, she finally chose to pursue her dream of painting for a living. From Spring of 2014, she has been painting professionally and offering her work to public domain. In a short duration of less than 2 years, she has participated in 9 group and 2 solo art exhibitions. She has won multiple awards for her work in juried fine arts shows and has been featured in Ohlone Monitor newspaper and ArtAscent art magazine. She lives in Fremont with her husband and two children. In spare time, she likes to take photos and spend time with her family.
